Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the Single Rocker On/Off Switch. This is going to be a water-resistant switch, so it can work for any kind of outdoor application like on your Jack or a winch or something else that is mounted outside. So it just turns one thing on and off. It's a Single-Pole Single-Throw switch. So just means it's directing the current from one pole to the other for one item.We can take a little closer look at it and see it's just a nice, easy on/off switch.
As far as the size goes, the outside edge measures about one and 3/4 inches by about an inch. Sticks out by about 0.5 inch from the surface where it's mounted to the top of that switch. Overall, it's about two inches deep with the connection points at the back. The cutout size needs to be about 1.5 inch. There are a couple of little times that are going to provide the tension to hold this in place.
Those are about one in 5/8 of an inch from either side, but you want to make sure that your hole is a little bit smaller than that if they actually spring between them and give you a better hold. So about 1.5 Inch will be pretty good to go to the ends there.Width wise, it's about 3/4 of an inch, three quarters there. The power rating for this again, it is Single-Pole Single-Throw. It's rated 420Amps at 125V AC 10Amps at 250V AC or 12Amps at 120V AC for a 3/4 horsepower and then 10Amps at 277V AC for Three Core horsepower. It's also rated for 30Amps at 12V DC.Made in the USA and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Single Rocker switch.
